Fifty of ninety-one booked appointments never happened
The booking number looked healthy, so nobody looked past it. I pulled ninety one booked appointments and counted what actually became of each one.
Fifteen canceled. Sixteen no showed. Nineteen rescheduled. Twelve disqualified. Six lost, five still in follow-up, eighteen purchased. Fifty of the ninety one, fifty five percent, were booked and never held. A handful of repeat offenders alone accounted for roughly fifteen dead calendar slots.
The booking number was healthy. Nobody had ever counted what happened after the booking.
Booked is not shown, and shown is not sold. Until somebody counts the space between those words, the calendar fills up with appointments that were never going to happen, and the business buys more leads to feed it.
Appointments down and nobody can say why? That is the thing I do.
